Research On The Gymnastics Curriculum Reform Of Physical Education Speciality Of Colleges And Universities In Jilin Province

As our country’s national fitness program has been upgrading to a national strategy, the reform of sports curriculum of elementary and secondary schools follows up unceasingly, and the social demands of gymnastics talented person enlarges, and the requirements of its ability also increases. Students of higher physical education specialty are important resource of our country’s gymnastics talents; therefore, whether the design of the compulsory gymnastics curriculums is reasonable or not, and whether the pace of reform can fits the social demand or not, will both have an affect on the cultivation of gymnastics talents of physical education specialty to some extent.In order to let the gymnastic sports works better in the national fitness program and to make the sports gymnastics curriculum develops smoothly in elementary and secondary schools, the author uses various research methods including the questionnaire survey, the expert interview, and the spot inspects, to have a research on the related contents of compulsory gymnastics curriculums of sports educational expertise in five representative universities in Jilin province. Here are the conclusion:(1)the team construction of the compulsory curriculums of physical education specialty in four colleges of Jilin province is relatively reasonable, and the instrument and place can basically meet the need of teaching and daily practice of students, but there are still some problems which limit the teaching of the compulsory classes of gymnastics.(2)Short teaching time and limited contents are major problems of the compulsory curriculums of physical education specialty in colleges of Jilin province. Teaching methods single, With the current teaching time, gymnastic teachers cannot guarantee its teaching quality if they can complete the entire teaching task.(3) All colleges in Jilin province advocate the policy of the ministry of education actively, and it basically meet the requirements of the national cultivation of talents according to the guidance outline of gymnastics courses, the selection of teaching material,the guiding ideology, and the teaching aims.(4)The way of an examination of a course to learn a universal subject of gymnastics of universities in Chilin-province has to be improved, and for teachers, the importance of the technological education is overemphasized, however, the practical education carried out was slighted.(5)The contents of gymnastics general course for physical education major are grossly consistent with P.E. course in primary school and high school, and can basically meet the requirements of the society to the skills of talents of physical education major, but the practical contents such as fundamental gymnastics are relatively insufficient, and the curriculum reform of gymnastics in university is inadequate.A suggestion suitable by an investigated result is offered:(1)Credit hours of gymnastics general course should be increased the educational quality should be guaranteed.(2)The universal exercise should be adjusted and the educational contents emphasizing(3)A various teaching method should be emphasized and tied, for example, educational practical use of a multimedia should be raised and then student’s positivism is raised.(4)The way of an examination should be converted and the upbringing of the teaching and practical ability should be emphasized.
