Only in the process of growth, the novice teachers break through themselves continuously, can shorten the gap with the expert teachers quickly in all aspects, this makes the novice teachers can get a better and more comprehensive development and go better on the way of teachers’ professionalization. Therefore, this paper studied two mathematics teachers in junior middle schools and try to describe and analysis the differences in classroom teaching. This study focused on a novice teacher and an expert teacher in the same section "fraction equation". By observing the class videos repeatedly, adopt the method of combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, I use the code analysis on the teaching procedures, using the teaching material, blackboard writing, classroom questioning and the implementation of the math task, hope to find the differences between the novice teachers and the expert teachers from the angle of the case. I hope it will provide some suggestions for the novice teachers and accelerate the process of new type of specialization. The research questions are:1. the differences between the novice teachers and the expert teachers in teaching procedures; 2. the differences between the novice teachers and the expert teachers in using the teaching material; 3. the differences between the novice teachers and the expert teachers in blackboard writing; 4. the differences between the novice teachers and the expert teachers in classroom questioning; 5. the differences between the novice teachers and the expert teachers in the implementation of the math task.Video analysis was mainly used in this study and the basic procedures are:(l) I faithfully recorded the words between the teachers and the students in the classroom; (2)Determined the coding;(3) Encoded and analyzed the texts and videos;(4) According to the results of classroom videos analysis and the information from the interviews.Drew the conclusions through quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results show that:the novice teacher and the expert teacher have no difference almost in teaching procedures; On the percentage of time in each teaching procedure, using the teaching material, blackboard writing, classroom questioning and the implementation of the math task, there is a big difference. The study also provides some suggestions for the novice teachers and hope it will let the novice teachers go less detours in the course of growth and accelerate the pace of specialization.
