Trigonometric function is a student in high school should have a kind of basic elementary functions which is an important knowledge of high school mathematics. Trigonometric has wide range of applications, and its importance as visibility. In this study, from cognitive characteristics of trigonometric function to understand and master the cognitive errors of possibility and causes of high school students in the learning of trigonometric functions, and detailed analysis the typical errors of the case and to seek effective ways to correct errorsIn this study, use the way of document analysis, interviews, surveys and teaching practice study and so on, through preparation the wrong type of test volume of trigonometric function for 236 students of my school six classes to implement testing on first semester of 2014-2015, according to the test results, select the part of students to interviews by the non-standardized ways, and then settle, summarize and study the tests results of the interviews, found that the wrong type of learning occurs in trigonometric concepts and operational aspects of high school students, summarize and generalize as four categories:(1) Trigonometric concept error. (2) Trigonometric graphic and characteristics error. (3) The error of Basic formula calculation. (4) The error of ignore condition limited aspects and so on.Analyze the causes of error through the high school student’s cognitive structure, to get the conclusion which mostly appeared in informative and tactical error from the error of students, summed up the four error causes following as: (1) Cognitive reasons. (2) Thinking causes. (3) Lack the reflection. (4) Other reasons, such as the basic knowledge is not solid, new knowledge system is imperfect, confused the old and new knowledge, and the impact of bad study habits, mindset of the negative effects, as well as students afraid of difficulties and so on. According to the prevent error and correct error of practical teaching case, collect some errors of students learning trigonometric function, as these errors to analysis and correct and remedy lack of knowledge and mentally to avoid the error happen again.For research results, combined with the characteristics of high school students made the suggestion of the trigonometric functions of teaching aspects, on the hope that through learning trigonometric functions, effectively improve students’ ability to explore and math levels, and able to accumulate some experience for teachers and to provide some reference.
