College entrance examination composition always attracts people’s attention every year after the end of the college entrance examination. The proposition angle of the college entrance examination has reflected some question in some aspects more or less. Therefore, this article is based on the college entrance examination ’s proposition angle to discuss the difference between China and United Sates. We are hoping to absorb its essence and attract the attention of educators to strengthen the importance of college entrance examination.This research begins from the contrast of United Sates and China’s composition proposition angle. It has divided into four chapters. The first chapter’s main idea is to sort out the proposition angle difference between China and the United States.The first part of this chapter defines the concepts of SAT in order to have a brief understanding of the college entrance examination composition in the United States.The author describes its test institutions from the test time, test site, test place and so on. The second chapter is mainly analyzes the difference reasons from objective and subjective factors, comparing the political system, education system, the thesis teaching and difference of values respectively. The third chapter mainly analyzes the evaluation mechanism of composition between the two countries combining the education mode. Finally, the fourth chapter discusses the influence and the reference.The reasons of the difference and the assessment mechanism after the first two chapters may have an effect on exam reformation, assessment mechanism and the composition teaching.
