It has been about a century since Modern Olympic Movement came into birth. It has become a global sporting event and also a splendid social cultural phenomenon, which has comprehensive and significant meaning in human history. The course of women’s participation is closely linked with the development of Olympic Movement. They finally gained a notable position after years of arduous fighting. Chinese women, as an indispensable part of Olympic Movement, has made a great contribution to the struggle.In this paper, China(not including Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and Taiwan regions) women’s participation at every modern Summer Olympic Games for the study, Through literature research, interviews, logical analysis, mathematical statistics, the Chinese women’s participation in the relationship between the Olympic movement, the number of projects,research achievements and Chinese Olympic Committee and other female participation. The following conclusions:First, women’s participation in Olympics has experienced a long and arduous process.And the relation between women and Olympics is extremely close. The Olympics helped promote women’s emancipation and social status, and in return women have completed and updated the Olympics. Second, the number of Chinese women participants and projects is increasing year by year, which is almost the same as or more than men participants. For achievements, the medals and gold medals won by women athletes are way more than men athletes., the distribution of gold medal projects won by women athletes is much more extensive than that of men athletes. There are many projects which women take great advantage over men athletes. And even in those projects which men athletes have greater advantage, women athletes also show strong competitiveness. Third, the participation ofwomen holds some advantages. However, from the perspective of position situation in the International Olympics Committee, Chinese men have stronger power and higher status than Chinese women. From the perspective of women’s participation in the International Olympics Committee, the number of women is way less than men and crucial positions are all taken over by men. Forth the development of Chinese economy and politics, the improvement of women’s emancipation and social status and the promotion of world’s female sports are mainly the external causes. While the internal cause is Chinese women’s spirit of persistence,striving and hard work.Meanwhile, we have work out some suggestions for women’s participation in Olympics Movements:First, Chinese women athletes in addition to their own advantages project will continue to maintain the, for male athletes advantage at present in China, Chinese women athletes to improve the competition ability, and the Chinese female athletes haven’t get the gold medal project, need Chinese women athletes play to the arduous struggle, indomitable spirit, get good results in more projects at an early date. Second, Chinese women taking part in Olympic committee(ioc), the Chinese women not only need the outstanding athletic achievements,also need knowledge to arm themselves, which requires the Chinese women want to constantly improve their cultural quality, in order to gain national and international recognition. Third, Countries in addition to the support of Chinese female athletics sports,should also pay attention to and encourage the development of China’s women’s public sports,to develop the popular women’s sports in our country, the popularization of women sports,promote women sports concept, actively carry out mass sports, women build good women sports atmosphere, for the Chinese women’s participation in the Olympic movement to provide a strong mass base and power source.
