Accompany with the speeding up of the pace of the economic globalization, as the soft power, the fusion of culture and politics and economy has been more and more profound, culture has made a great contribution to the comprehensive nationa l strength. Then culture has quickly become a hot subject in the whole word. With the deepening of cultural exchanges, cultural differences between different countries are becoming increasingly clear, and the cultural conflict is also becoming more a nd more serious. Especially the United States, as the delegate of the western develo ped countries, carry out its cultural hegemony depend on its power in language area s. It has caused a great threat to the local culture, social values and ideology secur ity of some weak countries. Under the strong cultural penetration of the United Sta tes, the cultural security of our country is facing unprecedented t hreats and challeng es. The university is an important place of talents cultivation and cultural growth. College students are the hope of a nation. So the target of Western cultural hegem ony is college students. Therefore, to the security culture education in universities a nd colleges, the cultural hegemony is a big challenge. Faced with such complex an d tough international situation and security issues, we must preserve cultural securit y of C hinese universities and colleges, correct decisions is essential to the country, but higher education is the most powerful support.
