As time changes and New Curriculum Standard proposes, teachers’ teaching ability is paid more and more attention. The promotion of new teachers’ teaching ability is particularly concerned by the leaders of schools. How to improve new teachers’teaching ability quickly is not only the responsibility of new teachers themselves, but also the means of school leaders to enhance the teaching quality. The class teaching strategies are a kind of general plans of a class. How to use appropriate teaching strategies to achieve effective teaching always deserves much research work. The author has compared new and old teachers’different teaching strategies in some classroom teaching cases, different teaching effects, and the influence of students’ cognitive level. After analysis and summary, the writer has come up with the new thought about classroom teaching strategies. The paper is made up of the following parts:Ⅰ. IntroductionIt explains teachers’teaching strategies, different teaching effects, and the influence of students’cognitive level. This part shows origin, significance, methods of the research.Ⅱ. Literature ReviewThe part mainly sums up the teaching effect, its application and functions in teaching process, to show the importance of teaching effect in teaching.Ⅲ. Theoretical EvidenceThe theoretical basis of this paper is introduced in the part. First the teaching strategies, and then the solo classification theory are explained.Ⅳ. The SurveyThe author designed a questionnaire for math teachers from primary schools about teachers’comprehension about teaching effect and students’cognitive level to get information about present teaching situation and teachers’acceptability, of teaching effect.Ⅴ. The ComparisonThe different strategies between new and old teachers are analyzed. The part compares the application of teaching effect between the author and an experienced teacher, as well as the influence on cognitive level of students.Ⅵ. Case AnalysisCombining with the author’s lecture notes, the author analyzed some of the old teachers’valuable teaching strategies in the class to form some useful material.Ⅶ. ConclusionIn the teaching process, the author starts a class with leading in, then demonstrate new knowledge, and finally consolidate. In the author’s classes, most students’cognitive level is of single-structure level or multi-structure level, which means students’mind haven’t been practiced. However, in the experienced teachers’ classes, the students’ mind is paid much attention. They use all kinds of teaching effect to improve the cognitive level of the students. As a result, most of their students students in the class can even reach the expanding level.Obviously, in the process of leading-in, learning and practicing, application of effective teaching effect in teaching strategies can help students enhance the cognitive level. It is an important aspect for teachers when they are designing classes. If a teacher can do well in the aspect, he or she can achieve any section of his class effectively. It is considerable for new teachers to think over their classes.Since some experienced teachers have been using teaching effect, we know more about the functions of teaching effect, which enable students to achieve higher cognitive level and the teachers to adjust their teaching methods to improve the teaching level.
