The Transformation Of Female Gender Role In The Social Transition Period

Since China is founded, along with social changes, Chinese female gender roles has undergone several changes, a deep imprint of the times also left behind every Changes. In 2013, the word "Tough girl" appears, it is totally different from the kind of female image of women in the past, and it caused extensive discussion, female gender roles once again changed.Based on the analysis on domestic and foreign literature study of female gender roles since 1949, this article demonstrated the changing progress of female gender role since the foundation of China:the typical female character and temperament changed from iron girl to strong woman.then to intellectual woman, the image of the role of women is a product of the times and an objective reflection of social form, it reflects the situation of the various historical periods of our society, the social and cultural changes:.At the same time, based on the case study method, and the "Tough girl" and social networks in-depth interviews, we select some typical cases for text analysis, and with the gender theory to analyze,it shows the typical role of women in today’s society, "Tough girl" performance characteristics. causes and dynamics, the impact on the field of social gender, and "Tough girl" hidden behind the social and cultural context, and adapt from the two levels of society to shape and expand the role of the individual.In essence, "Tough girl" is to transform, enrich and develop the new social background female gender identities, as a new femininity, "Tough girl" has both male and female qualities, "Tough girl" refers to femininity which contains both traditional and modern spirit of the new era of women, is behind the emergence of complex intertwined factors, this article attempts to explore the social and individual levels:the emergence of "Tough girl" groups, which is a common result of environmental and social adaptation of individual women, and in the social development Changes female gender roles in the context of re-socialization of the product, is the new social environment, and women’s own efforts to shape this emerging groups of women, therefore, we can say, "Tough girl" is the product of the self-construction of social action and the effect of interaction.
