With the progress of human society, female self-conciousness has gradually improved and their freedom, equality and liberation are concerned in the community. As all we know, female liberation is an important part of human liberation, which is also one of the major issues relating to the progress of human civilization.Western Marxism of feminist thinking has historically been on the rise for three times, the second one in feminist thinking rises after World War II.Vogel Lise is one of the important representatives of the second feminist thought,as a staunch Marxist feminist. Her masterpiece, "Marxism and oppression of women: toward a unified theory",embodies a classic of Vogel Lise’s Marxist feminist thought. She carries out a series of works about the 19 th century female liberation issue in this book and checks out the Marxist classics on women’s issues and finds out their contribution to feminist and limitations. This paper studies on Voger Lise’s "Marxism and oppression of women: toward a unified theory".Combined with China’s actual conditions, the book reflects the evaluation of the Marxist feminist thought by Vogel and provides new ideas and methods for the emancipation of women.Different from other socialist feminists’ points of view, Vogel agrees to analyze the obstacles which contemporary women encounter in the pursuit of liberation road by using the Marxist theory, and insists on the basis of learning from the Marxist tradition to analyze women’s issues from the context of social reproduction,so as to try to build a more comprehensive theoretical system to address women’s issues. However she does not think the Marxist left the complete analysis of the oppression of women affected by the problem, due to a big flaw. Thus, these deficiencies need to everyone’s power to face and solve.
