With our country’s economy and society development stepping into a new stage, China has been deepening its reform. Economic and social development are facing with a wealth of new condition, problems and challenges. Reforming our education system, especially reforming and developing tertiary education, has been highly concerned. The chapter of tertiary education reform in the National mid and long-term reform and development Plan (2010-2020) clearly states that tertiary education, as one of the key targets for national reform, must "comprehensively improve tertiary education and talents quality; the improvement of tertiary education will be made in research capacity and social services; the structure of tertiary education will be optimized, and running college will be of characteristic style. The Report of the Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China is about completing the target of comprehensive building a well-off society, and further points out that connotative development of higher education should be pushed forward. With the opening of the Third Plenary Session of the Eighteen and the adoption of decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Some Major Issues Concerning Comprehensively Deepening the Reform, " deepening overall education reform" has been on the top agenda.Undergraduate education acts as an important content of comprehensive reform of higher education, whose success relates directly to the reform of higher education. The reform of tertiary education is a holistic and systematic project, which involves many aspects of reform, such as teaching management, teacher’s teaching, specialties, course development and so on. However, with the continuous development of higher education reformation, the obstacles whose constraints exist in the concept, system and strategy of undergraduate education’s reform cannot be resolved by fractional and individual reform, but these require to use a comprehensive, systematic and overall reform that can advance gradually undergraduate teaching reform to develop towards comprehension. At present, district colleges and universities have realized the importance and urgency of undergraduate teaching’s comprehensive reform and taken some measures to improve the quality of teaching and talents.The research can be divided into five parts:The first part is "introduction", including the research background, the reasons and the research significance, research status, important conception, research content, idea and method.The second part of "comprehensive reform of undergraduate course teaching and the relationship between the comprehensive reform of higher education", this paper expounds the background of higher education comprehensive reform, general requirements and processes, analyzes the comprehensive reform of undergraduate course teaching and the relationship between the comprehensive reform of higher education.The third part of "local the necessity and significance of comprehensive reform of college teaching", where one is expounded the necessity of the reform of college teaching, analysis from two aspects:the urgent needs of the rapid development of higher education; Local colleges of undergraduate course teaching reform deepening of urgent need. The another is discussed the significance of local comprehensive reform of college teaching, analysis from five aspects:is advantageous to the smelting and promoting the value of local university’s own; To better adapt to the development of modern university; conducive to further deepen the reform of the system, optimizing the structure of higher education and improve the quality of education in colleges and universities; conducive to better play a fundamental role in the development of colleges and universities in countries; conducive to further enhance our country’s higher education comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness.The fourth part of "local undergraduate course based on the analysis of the teaching reform of colleges and universities, with B university as an example", from the basic situation, the background of the reform, reform of the basic ideas and goals, specific measures strategy planning, progress and achievements, safeguard measures, encountered difficulties and disadvantages of seven aspects, such as B university undergraduate teaching reform were analyzed.The fifth part of "China’s implementation of the comprehensive reform of undergraduate course teaching in local colleges countermeasures", from the update idea, the reform mode of production and the production process, to strengthen the construction of teaching staff, improve the teaching quality monitoring and evaluation system, improving teaching service puts forward five aspects, such as local colleges and universities in China to implement comprehensive reform of undergraduate course teaching countermeasures.
