Junior grade one is an important turning point in the life of students, the adaptability of the new students affects the individual development and school education management. The study on it is of great significance to improve the students’ ability of psychological adaptation, and to promote the teaching of school education and the management of students.The research combining literature research, questionnaire and interview survey method, some students who are new in Junior grade one of a middle school in Tianjin are selected as the research object. Generally, the research deeply understands and analyze the adaptability of the first freshmen’s school life. Pointing at the level of adaptation of the students’ five indicators in the school attitude, academic adaptation, interpersonal adaptation, behavioral adaptation, self-acceptance, the research discusses the influencing factors of the adaptability of junior middle school students, Based on the perspective of school management, the research gives management countermeasures to promote the new school life adaptability from the school and teachers’ level. The management strategy which is based on the school level includes the attention of the new students to adapt to the work and protect the system; establishing reasonable entrance education, system; Perfecting the moral education management of the first day of the new year; Paying attention to mental health work; Strengthening the construction of school culture; cooperation between home and school; Uniting primary and middle school; on special groups, implementation of the "sunshine project"; innovation of the way in entrance adaptation work. Countermeasures of Management which is based on the teachers is to change their concept of education and improve the way of education; Building a democratic, equal and harmonious relationship between teachers and students; Cultivating the students’ Adaptability in the course of teaching; Mastering the way to help the poor students; Strengthening ties with schools and parents. The teacher who is in charge of a class should enhance pertinence of improving the adaptability of the new students; narrow the distance between teachers and students, grasp the students’ dynamic; Optimize class management, strengthen the construction of it; Be good at the use of other forces, etc.
