Is the cradle of the society,the state needed talent cultivation in colleges and universities,and students to enter society,an important transition period to be going to work. Sports teaching is an important indicator of the cultivation of talents in colleges and universities,sports teaching quality of high and low,directly involves the influence to the contemporary college students the formation of the scientific view of sports and health of body and mind,involves direct effect on the quality of personnel training in colleges and universities. At present, there are many schools not enough emphasis on sports,ideological concept understanding,in the reform of physical education practice is not flexible enough,more is to stay in mechanized type imitation stage,there are many perfect place need to be improved,a series of defects and the existing prominent problems, especially in medical colleges and universities personnel training is particularly outstanding,deepen the reform of the medical colleges and universities sports teaching has become the top priority.In this paper the use of literature, expert interview, questionnaire and mathematical statistics method,to Hunan Medical University public sports teaching reform as the breakthrough point,explore the theory and practice of the teaching of public physical education curriculum reform. The research results show that:1,Hunan Medical Colleges through the public physical education teaching reform,most of the physical education teachers can very good implementation of the syllabus,the teaching goal of sports implemented well. But the survey of colleges and universities in the teaching goal setting,there are differences. 2,public PE teaching contents and class reform,practice teaching content are rich,teaching content and the medical profession can better combination,and the survey of colleges and universities in the teaching of physical education theory attention degree is not enough,the selection of textbook type that is not unified. In 3, after the reform, the sports teaching organization forms and methods has also been significantly improved,but in the form of teaching organization,there is a perfect space option class teaching,administrative class teaching by various colleges and universities. 4,Hunan Province medical colleges and universities sports teachers also have improved to some extent,sports teaching evaluation gradually from theory and practice were comprehensive evaluation,but the title of senior colleges of physical education teachers is relatively low, in the evaluation of teaching exist some differences. 5, sports facilities construction has a certain input,but also new facilities,but with the national standard requirements and there is a gap. 6,Hunan Province,medical colleges and universities in the reform of physical education has achieved some results,but also exposed a lot of problems,lack of forward-looking ideas in teaching, innovative awareness training is still insufficient.There are some problems in the Hunan Province medical colleges of physical education teaching reform,we should continue to strengthen the reform,followed by students as the main body,“health first”and“medicine”principle,to promote medical colleges of physical education teaching reform. One is to change the teaching concept and form a“medicine”thought;the second is enrich teaching contents,innovate teaching form;the third is the application of modern teaching means,improve the teaching methods of physical education;four is to reform the teaching evaluation system,make physical education reasonable;the fifth is to pay attention to PE Teachers’ growth,improve the whole level of teachers,improve the construction of venues and facilities to meet the needs of sports course teaching.
