With the advancement and improvement of China’s high-class policies, the high-class students have become an important population being studied. The minority high-class students’ adaptation state and ability in the inland, and the effect of high-class students’ adaptation state on their performance has become the core of research. Research has indicated that students’ adaptability has important effects on their academic performance; students’ adaptability includes learning adaptability, cultural adaptability, life adaptability and many other aspects, and academic performance is the measurement of minority students’ adaptability in the inland. Therefore, the effects of adaptability on academic performance seem particularly important.This study investigates students’ gender, grade, nationality and other basic information of three schools’ high-classes in Shandong province, learning adaptability, cultural adaptability, life adaptability and its various dimensions is also included. After collecting questionnaires, we use SPSS 17.0 to input and analysis the data. Basic descriptive statistical analysis, difference analysis between high-class students’ adaptability and gender, grade, nationality, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis of high-class students’ adaptability and academic performance are conducted. We found that, on learning adaptability, high-class students’ learning attitude has significant differences on gender; on life adaptability,high-class students’ collective adaptability and teacher-student relationship have significant differences on gender; high-class students’ teacher-student relationship has significant differences on grade; high-class students’ teacher-student relationship and collective adaptability have significant differences on nationality;and no significant differences on other aspects. Minority high-class students’ learning adaptability, life adaptability have a significant positive correlation with academic performance, and can also positive predict academic performance. Which means the stronger the adaptability is the higher the academic performances are. Although the high-class students has higher expectations and positive coping attitudes on learning in inland they still facing the difficulty and stress from language learning, interpersonal relationships and psychological aspects. The statistical results show that the stronger their cultural adaptability is the better their academic performances are. On this basis, this study focuses on the high-class policy development and at the same time puts forward countermeasures and suggestions of increasing the intensity of government and social support, enforcing the back force of schools and families,the high-class students self improvements on adaptability and academic performances.
