Constructivism is a modern foreign mainstream teaching methods, the most important teaching is scaffolding instruction, scaffolding instruction means from an instructed direction, play to students’ enthusiasm for learning, to master the current knowledge in the learning process intrinsic meaning. Teachers teaching process is to build only the role framework template. Scaffolding Instruction are applied in various fields, to study this question scaffolding teaching teaching effect in breaststroke teaching.Research methods: This study to Xi’an river swimming club in summer in swimming training of 40 students as the research object, using randomized method on at the club to physiological age to 8 to 15 years of age in the breaststroke beginner students for the survey were investigated. This paper mainly uses questionnaire survey method, expert interview method, literature method, experimental method, mathematical statistics, test of the experimental group and control group two groups of trainees in previous experiments, in the middle and at the end of the experiment were the breaststroke skill, breaststroke,interest in learning, breaststroke learning motivation etc. index, and the results were statistically analyzed. The breaststroke training class teaching experiment to prove effect of scaffolding instruction in the breaststroke teaching in teaching and traditional teaching method compared to the existence of differences.Research conclusions:1. The Scaffolding Teaching Method in improving the overall effect of student swimming learning has a significant role.2. The scaffolding instruction is helpful to improve the quality of teaching,students’ interest in learning to swim and students learning self-confidence.3. The scaffolding instruction is helpful to the scaffolding teaching method tocultivate students’ autonomous learning ability, improve the students’ interest in learning.4. The scaffolding instruction is helpful to enhance the interaction between teachers and students, cultivate students’ innovative spirit.Also made the following recommendations:1. Scaffolding teaching as a more leading learning method is widely used in everyday teaching, which is able to be used in breaststroke teaching, and can be applied in other projects study and daily practice.2. Building emphasizes students’ main role in the building daily teaching framework, pay attention to deal with the relationship between students and teachers.3. In the daily teaching applications, Scaffolding Instruction will encounter traditional teaching ideas and students, parents already thinking shackles,teachers need to adapt to a new role as architect architecture build students’ knowledge, help students build new knowledge structure, acquire new knowledge.4. Scaffolding instruction as a new teaching method, advantages and characteristics of its own, but it should be a rational view of Scaffolding Teaching Model and traditional education, proposed to strengthen the research of the teaching of combination of scaffolding instruction and traditional education,absorb reasonable use both of their advantages and better the teaching activities.
