As society develops, people demand the safety of their own living place increasingly, The field of home security has been also rapid developed. However, the current high-end monitoring systems on the market are expensive, complicated to operate, not suitable for civilian using, and the low-end monitoring systems have single function. To design useful security products for civilian facility such as home or small office has far-reaching significance.This thesis used embedded technology, image storage technology and wireless communication technology to design a small intrusion alarm device with image recording function. System consists of monitoring terminal and receiving terminal. The monitoring terminal of system used low-power MSP430 microcontroller as the terminal-core processors, designed a human detector based on pyroelectric infrared sensor and signal processing circuitry BISS0001, used the camera module GXT-M201 with JPEG compression function and the FLASH chip as the digital image recording, processing and storage module, used RF-chip nRF24L01 with 2.4GHz signal power amplifier circuit based on short-range wireless transmission technology as the image data wireless transmission module, and designed control circuit of the alarm light, The monitoring terminal implemented the intrusion detection function, image capturing and storage function, wireless data transmission and alarm function. The receiving terminal of the system adopted nRF24L01 as the communication module, MSP430 as the core processor, and designed a PC-connected USB interface module. The receiving terminal achieved the wireless connectivity from PC to the monitoring terminal, which will transport the photo data of monitoring terminal to the PC. System can be used to achieve two kinds of operating modes, in addition to the system’s recording function, but also had real-time monitoring and timing shooting functions. After debugging and trial, the results proved that the system basically meets the technical performance of the design requirements, achieved recording photographs of the intruder and alert function, provided a convenient wireless way for image data transmission, instead of existing wired transmission.The invasion alarm image recording device in this design can be used with other modules (such as RFID modules, door access modules, etc.) to form an intelligent integral home security product. The device can be applied to the situation which only require photo without the need of real-time video surveillance, such as civilian access control systems, residential security camera, etc.
