The Research And Application Of Web Report Recycle Print Based On ETL

Enterprise decision-makers in order to be more convenient and intuitiveunderstanding of the unit data to make the enterprise decision.Therefore,they areequipped with the Web reporting subsystem.The report can be scientific and collationthe enterprise data and then show, can satisfy the needs of enterprises,However, thefollowing questions still hinder the development of Web reporting system.Firstly, most of the Web reporting system were developed for the centralizeddatabase and few can be applied to the distributed database. Therefore, the ETLmethod is applied to get the report data from the distributed database. This paper holdsthe three aspects of real-time, high accuracy, small pressure on the systemrequirements, selected the archive log as the analysis method of incremental data. Byusing Hash division method and list as the grouping and the keyword as Hash group,tosolve the problem of the key collision packet parallel execution and guarantee theaccuracy of the block parallel execution. Finally, through the experiment proves thefeasibility and efficiency of the method and guaranteed access to real-time data of thereport distributed database when large quantities of data updates.Secondly, currently the print function of the Web reporting system is not flexibleenough, most can only print a single report, and can not be achieved in the group as aunit for the Web report data for batch printing, do not have the function of thecirculation printing.For this problem, by using the ActiveX technology to achieve thegoal that client calls the local printer function,based on the secondary development ofDataGridView report control, the designation and implementation of the recycle printprocess are given, and the recycle print functions are programmed, thus enhanced theWeb report system’s efficiency.Thirdly, although some excellent report controls such as Crystal Reports,ActiveReports can achieve the recycle printing, but because of the strongencapsulation of control, cannot realize the dynamic columns of the report and printingand the custom paper control and other functions.Based on the DataGridView control of recycle print realized the dynamic column control, it is easy to control reportcolumn’s display and hide, furthermore, re-selection the columns before printingfunction are added to the Web report system, these function make the Web reportcontrol more flexible. Implement the custom of paper and the configuration interfaceof printing only load the paper type of the user commonly used to decrease thedifficulty of the user to select and enhance the response speed of the page.Finally, combining with the cases of the actual developed Web report, the recycleprinting processing, effectiveness and core codes are presented. It shows that thefunctions of recycle printing have a very excellent prospect for the practicalapplication.
