Resource Reservation Protocol (RSVP) lets hosts request quality of bandwidth service for multicastapplications on the Internet. But RSVP doesn’t provide a flexible mechanism to support quality ofsecurity service (QoSS). Security service RSVP extends RSVP to provide mechanism for dynamicallynegotiating QoSS among the senders and receivers of multicast applications on the Internet. SSRSVPprovides different levels of QoSS to satisfy every user’s requirements. This paper did detailed research about QoSS and SSRSVP protocol, and the main work is asfollows:1. Designed and developed the SSRSVP protocol system, which consists of routing nodes andterminal nodes. Implemented the transmission and processing of SSRSVP’s three fundamentalmessage types. Each routing node consists of message processing, security processing and underlyingtransmission modules, and has three negotiation styles. Each Terminal node is composed of userinformation, message processing, security processing, database and underlying transmission modules. The system has five levels of QoSS, corresponding to different encryption algorithms.2. Proposed a kind of soft state mechanism based on SSRSVP protocol, and proved that it’s feasibleand effective to use soft state mechanisms in SSRSVP protocol by experiment. |
