With the rapid development of science and technology and manufacturing process, theintegration level of digital circuit chip and the application of Electric circuits and systems have alsobeen highly improved. Accordingly, the methods and means of performance testing and faultdiagnosis for digital circuitry have drawn wide attention in engineering world. Aiming at the researchhotpot, this thesis develops a set of digital circuit performance test equipment with great convenienceand high efficiency.Firstly, this paper analyses the existing problems in fault diagnosis of the digital circuit. Theoverall program design on software system of the automatic test equipment is presented based on theexisting hardware devices. As the core issue in the software system of the automatic test equipment,test vector algorithm methods are comprehensively studied, and therefore a new test vector algorithmmethod which can avoid backtracking in traditional algorithms is proposed. In this algorithm, aneutral network model of the circuit is built to transfer the test vector generation to mathematicalproblem which is solved by a discrete particle swarm algorithm. The experimental results show thatthe proposed algorithm is efficient and feasible.Then the paper presents the concrete realization ofeach functional module, among which the implementation details of various waveform displays aremainly discussed. The integration of software system is also designed and analyzed.The jointdebugging of the software and hardware of the test system shows that the automatic test equipmentdesigned in this thesis meets the engineering requirements with respect to the specifications andfunctions. The test equipment also has considerable merits with respect to independent hardware andsoftware function modules, friendly software interface, simple operation and high utility value.
