EMA is a kind of actuator, which can drive the load by electric power. In more-electric/all-electric aircraft, EMA will be used to replace hydraulic actuator, and provide cleaner power andlower maintenance costs. EMA need to have rapid response, and to ensure reliability under badconditions. EMA used digital servo control system is the future trend, which can achieve higher staticand dynamic performance. The advanced control strategies for EMA are research focus now. Thepurpose of this thesis is to design a kind of EMA digital servo control system, build and analysis themodel, and propose the control strategy for it. The main work is as follows:First of all, a brief introduction to the application and development status of EMA and digitalservo technology is described in this thesis. A mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronousmotor is established. The vector control strategy is researched, in which the current loop, speed loopand position loop are designed in detail.Secondly, the model of mechanical transmission part is established and analyzed. Combining theabove two parts, the model of the entire EMA servo control system is completed.Meanwhile, the power circuits and control circuits of EMA servo control system are designed. The power circuits include IPM modules and drivers, soft start, laminated busbar and radiator. Thecontrol circuits include DSP, CPLD and various peripheral interfaces. Then, the softwares ofclosed-loop control, SVPWM, system protection are designed. Finally, the model of EMA servo control system is analyzed and simulated. The effects ofparameters on the performance of EMA servo control system are studied. The fuzzy self-tuning PIDcontrol strategy is proposed and implemented for it.
