The multi-level, multi-directional attack of anti-ship missiles is a major threat to many oftoday’s national naval surface ships and Pro. Damage Assessment is the target of a military targetin the area of attack or military decisions, through reconnaissance and sensor information, get theenemy to be mutilated, before being damage by extracting the target, the difference is thecharacteristics of the target’s damage damage to assess the situation and to make the organizationprocess is the next wave of damage decisions.The battlefield environment is complex, it is difficult to obtain accurate information, thisinformation can be expressed as uncertain, incomplete and fuzzy decision information inmathematics. According to the Bayesian network, especially based on the advantage of Bayesiannetwork in dealing with uncertain information, this paper focuses on the research of battledamage assessment method based on Bayesian network and its application. The main work andcontent of this paper includes:Research on the methods and means of the battle damage assessment. Give a brief analysisof the general situation of recent domestic and international research results. And introduced theair target battle damage process, evaluation criteria and evaluation processes. Considered thecharacteristic of the air target battle damage, presents a fusion assessment methord of battledamage, and gives the detailed realization of the method.Research on the battle damage assessment based on Bayesian network model. Determiningthe distribution of battle damage circumstances in different sensors, obtain the priori probability,then according to various information of battlefield environment, selecting the damageassessment index. According to the actual battlefield battle damage information and datacollected from various sensors, sorting out the damage evaluation index table, and using theindex table to obtaine the membership functions of each factor corresponding to the damagegrade. Based on the weight vector of index evaluation of different weapons to attack, to calculatethe conditional probability of the emergence of various grades of battlefield damage. Finally,using the Bayesian formula to calculate the posterior probability, through the principle ofmaximum probability, make the damage level assessment.Analysising the application of battle damage assessment and simulation analysis based onBayesian network. The results show that the proposed method is feasible and reasonable.
