Since people pay more and more attention to wireless networks in everydayapplications, while the Wireless Mesh Network as a hotspot in it, with the advantage ofits low-cost, robust, dynamic and scalable network topology, all of these propertiesmade it widely applied. However, due to inherent defects in the wireless network, so itssecurity problems encountered more than wired networks, traditional firewalls andproxy servers rely on border protection measures difficult to apply, so most of thesecurity policy is based on cryptography authentication and encryption technology. For Wireless Mesh Networks in wastewater monitoring system, Our nodes areoften deployed in an open industrial environment, vulnerable to physical capture attack, once a node is captured, the authentication information and the key of the node will beleaked. And because of the complex industrial environment, it is very susceptible tointerference, resulting in some of the system’s failure problems, such as error orfalsification of data generation, thereby affecting the overall function of the network. To compensate for these shortcomings, We introduced Trust Model to the WMN.Through the service capacity assessment, select a data transfer path with the highestreliability, and thus enhance the performance of the entire network. In this paper, a improved BETB-TM model based on Bayesian theory andEigenTrust reputation model is proposed, which including calculation of trust, trustdata management, security policy. Throughout the process, we designed the probabilityof the concentration factor, reliability of recommended update mechanism and we alsointroduced Chord mechanisms, PKI and multi-node backup mechanism. Finally, in theOpnet environment, the model simulation conducted on the basis of the original model.Through comparative analysis, the accuracy of our model in calculating reputationvalues, resistance to joint attacks, and message overhead aspects has a betterperformance than other model. So that BETB-TM model can be better applied towastewater monitoring system for Wireless Mesh Network.
