| The birth of search engines makes it possible for people finding target informationquickly. For improving the search efficiency and finding needed information morecomprehensively, more accurately, more rapidly, people often need collaboration duringthe process of search. The author of this paper designed and carried out a informationretrieval tool for group members search collaboratively for the purpose of improving theefficiency of extracting target information from the massive amount of informationwhich dispersing in the Internet and reducing the duplication of labor during the processof searching information. And the author completed the following work:1. This paper summarized and analyzed amount of researches about collaborativeinformation search(CIS)at home and abroad, investigated many CIS systems, andpresented the shortages of current researches and problems that still need to be solved.2. Then the author of this paper analyzed collaboration technologies in informationdomain and three main factors of collaboration.3. Based on this, the author of this paper refined out six collaboration dimensions,analyzed each dimension from two sides, investigated two different collaboration formeach dimension, and established a comprehensive&universal collaboration modelbased on the six dimensions, this model relatively comprehensive presented thecharacteristics of collaborative search system. This model contains these following sixdimensions: intent of collaborator, geographical distribution of collaborator,concurrency of collaboration, relationship of collaborator, coordination media andcollaboration terminal.4. Based on this model, authors of this paper came up with the prototype of anenhanced collaborative information extracting and sharing system which called GroupSearch,and analyzed the functions of each module from the three levels what userinterface layer, formatting layer and algorithm layer.5. Based on system prototype and design goals of GroupSearch, the author of thispaper analyzed a range of issues need to consider when building GroupSearch system,extracted key technologies of GroupSearch, and analyzed how these technologies cansolve the above problems.6. And then, the author introduced the implementation of GroupSearch system, itmainly include the implementation of collaborative environment and theimplementation of GroupSearch system itself. When it comes to the implementation ofsystem, the author introduced the system forms, client and server. Finally, the authormade an objective comparison to these systems from a theoretical perspective andverified the system by an experiment at the end of this paper. |
