With the development of transportation infrastructure, such as road, railway andsubway, the scale of the tunnel is developing. But under the influence of the geology,design and the technology of the construction of tunnel, there are many hiddendangers in phases such as under construction, finish the construction and operatingthe tunnel which will affect the safety of tunnel. GPR is widely used in the detectionof tunnel quality, because of the nondestructuctive, high resolution, stronganti-influence, fast, efficient and the little influence of tunnel transportation. Butbecause of the complexity of the geological environment and the structure of tunnel,GPR image interpretation of tunnel disease has many difficulty and challenge.This paper is based on the detection engineering of the road tunnel of TianChilimited company in JiangXi. The engineering include the advanced forecasting testingengineering of the YanLing first tunnel of WanYi Road in JiangXi, the acceptancetesting engineering of Jingangshan Road tunnel, the maintenance testing engineeringof Yanlieshan tunnel of Jiujin highway in Jiangxi and this paper combined with themodel of highway tunnel lining GPR images of tunnel disease in testing method isstudied. The main technical methods and the research contents are as following:1. Through the method of model structure design of tunnel lining entity model;combined with GPR image analysis model and the actual engineering, develop a setof engineering practical GPR data preprocessing method; by F-K migration techniqueand time slice image processing methods Implement three-dimensional imaging ofthe model of tunnel lining.2. In this paper, we explored the advanced prediction of GPR Wiggle imagecharacteristics and test methods; studied the GPR detection method of the thicknessof the lining based on Energy scan and rebar of the second line based on the Degreeof symmetry and the Hough voting method; developed the GPR disease automaticdetection method based on Fractal Dimension and SVM. And we employed thismethod to the advanced forecasting testing engineering of the YanLing first tunnel ofWanYi Road, the acceptance testing engineering of Jingangshan Road tunnel and the maintenance testing engineering of Yanlieshan tunnel of Jiujin highway in Jiangxi.3. Using GPR data preprocessing algorithm, the thickness detection algorithm ofthe tunnel lining, the steel detection algorithm and the automatic recognitionalgorithm of tunnel disease etc studied in this paper, develop the GPR data processingman-machine communication platform software based on Matlab, and applied inGPR image processing of the actual tunnel detection project, received good effects.
