Along with the satellite communication increasingly mature, limited frequencyband issue become more and more serious, Consequently, how to reasonable andefficient allocate resource has already become a crucial problem raised for urgentsolution based on frequency-band-limited. Multi-beam satellite antenna technology hasbeen an effective way to the major problem with two main advantages---beam spaceisolation and frequency reuse. As a result, multi-beam satellite antenna applies tosatellite mobile communications system to research on dynamic allocation algorithm forsystem resource play an important theories meaning and practical significance. whilethis thesis focuses on ka band to study how to dynamic allocate resource as the carrierthat multi-beam antenna technology.Firstly, the paper introduces the basic composition and the principle of satellitecommunication system in detail, analyzes the merits and demerits and some crucialissue that need to be resolved about satellite communication are proposed in the paper. After that, in the paper elaborates the type, principle and characteristics of multi-beamantenna. Then, analyzes its performance advantages if it applies to satellite mobilesystem, briefly summarizes the prospects of multi-beam satellite communication.Secondly, this paper briefly introduces some space propagation characteristics onsatellite mobile communication channel, including free space loss, atmosphericabsorption loss, ionosphere loss, clouds and fogs loss, shadow fading and multipathfading channel. compared with other loss, rain attenuation is the dominant fadingmechanism in ka band that exhibits high variability in space and time. then we have toconsider the rain induced attenuation so that introduces the ITU-R rain attenuationprediction model and calculate the value of rain attenuation via Matlab, and simulationresults show the value of rain attenuation will increase with the increase of frequencyand the decrease of elevation angles. At last, this paper introduces multipath Ricianchannel and multi-beam channel model that is the foundation of the followingresearches. Finally, in this paper research and analysis is focus on adapative dynamic resourceallocation algorithm based on aimed at maximizing system capacity, mainly includingcarrier and power allocation. and elaborated capacity maximization, max-min capacitymaximization, capacity maximization under the constraint of the proportion anmong users’ rate algorithm, analysis and compares their advantages and disadvantages. to dealwith exist problems on this three algorithms, this paper proposed a improved algorithmabout power allocation and make an simulation on power allocation under differentweather conditions, and simulation results show the new algorithm that is proposed inthis paper has already improve performance, especially for the user of rainfall area. atlast, a novel algorithm is proposed in this paper based on jointly optimizing carrier andpower allocation in order to best match the traffic requests with SINR constraints. thisnew algorithm adopt the approach to independently carrier and power allocation, simulation results show significant improvements in terms of spectral efficiency, trafficmatching ratio and power gain compared other conventional algorithms, and thecomplexity of computation has already reduced.
