Research On Technologies Of PDM Service Based On Lightweight Client

Manufacturing enterprises want to win in the fierce competition in the market, and get morebusiness in the market, so they need the implementation of IT to shorten the product design time tomarket. Nevertheless, services technologies of the product data management, based on informationtechnology, are in charge of the management of the data which is produced in the product life cycle. Inthe recent years, intelligent terminals which are growing rapidly will become the developing tendencyof the mobile Internet in the future. So product data management services provided by the intelligentterminals will become the tendency of the Manufacturing enterprises. In order to conform with thedeveloping trend of Manufacturing enterprises, it is imperative to do deeply research on product datamanagement. The author’s main workings are given as follows:(1) Summarize the definition and species of product data management, and do research on thetechnologies of Ajax and Web Services. In order to improve the user experience, do deeply research onthe technology of the database connection pool and thread pool, and describe the process of therealization.(2) According to flexibility and extensible features of this system, this paper uses Web services torealize the middle logic layer and emphasizes the benefits of Web services.(3) This paper presents an online browse component of drawings, which is realized by ActionScript,and test the feasibility by product data management system.(4) Do research on product architecture management, drawing and document management, systemmanagement, query management in the system of product data management. Moreover, this paperpresents the detailed description of product data management design idea, architecture and design planof its key modules.(5) According to features of intelligent terminals and reusability of web services, this paper redesignsthe application based on intelligent terminals, which reuse the Web services above.
