| The database of general land use planning (hereinafter referred to as “planningdatabaseâ€) is one of the important achievements of general land use planning. Theconstruction of planning database (hereinafter referred to as “database constructionâ€)starts relatively late in China and very deficient in theoretical research and practice.And it has brought a series of problems: data sharing, format conversion, technicalroute, spatial data processing, etc. Because of a large amount of data which hascomplex logical relationship in planning database, there are many data qualityproblems, such as data integrity, data accuracy, data consistency and so on. Thesequality problems often need to spend a lot of manpower and material resources to dealwith. Therefore, planning database quality control is the key point of planningdatabase construction. It is very necessary to carry out the research of the planningdatabase construction and quality control.The research is about key technology of planning database construction andquality control, which was based on practical work of planning database at county andtown level in Shandong Province. The main research contents include:(1) The meaning and difference of planning database at county and town levelwere analyzed, and the internal relations of features about the planning database werediscussed.Then, the method to deal with extended feature layers and constructionprocess of planning database were described, and the connection technology betweenplanning database and land use status data was discussed.(2) According to the technological difficulties of database construction fromtown level to county level, theThis paper searched on a new method of automaticgeneralization for polygon features in planning database according to thesemantic level (that is, the attribute similarity). The principles of generalizationfor polygon features were determined, and the methods of building models wereproposed using ModelBuilder, Python and sequences of geoprocessing toolsbased on ArcGIS10, the automatic generalization on the basis of semantic levelhas was implemented.(3) The quality requirement, quality control principle and quality checkingcontent of planning database were analyzed. Then, the solutions under MapGISplatform to quality problems repairing and boundary overlapping problem of polygonfeature classes were proposed. Finally, the automatic calculation methods were also proposed about the repairing topology errors of polygon feature classes and linefeature classes, clearing small polygon and short line under ArcGIS. |
