There are so largeamount of redundant information in the database of high school library that readersare not able to access and analyze information easily, resulting in inaccurate databasesearches, which is not paid enough attention and made full use,resulting in resourceutilization low. At present, the development and utilization of most of the digitallibrary information are is very limited, namely there is no in-depth development andutilization of massive library data. These problems become a stumbling block to thedevelopment of the digital library on the road, which poses severe challenges indigital library resource management and data processing. So digital library urgentlyneeds to harness some ways and technologies to solve these problems, analyze thedata of the database, figure out the unknown relationships between them, Foundhidden in them do not know in advance the value of the potential use of informationand knowledge.Date Mining can help people analyze and modeling process the large amount oflibrary operation data, so that we can take advantage of the existing data to predictthe future and extract information and support data for decision. These can helpmake the decision-making more scientific and targeted. It can implement thefunctions through the application of data mining in digital library. The functions areas follows.(1) Optimize the library collection structure: The daily librarymanagement can be accurate to each kind of library books, truly reflect the specificcircumstances of the book and provide objective decision support for managers inorder to reasonably adjust the collection layout.(2) Provide readers with morecomprehensive information reference service and personalized service.(3)Accelerate the circulation speed of library books; improve the efficiency of librarybook usages etc.This article focuses on studying how to optimize library collection and improvethe quality of library services. It was from the study of data mining in digital librarythat it could implement the functions:(1) optimize the library collections and meetthe borrowing requirements of readers.(2) Increase information access speed, andprovide readers with more comprehensive information reference service andpersonalized service; perfect the library structure and enhance service levels.Firstly, build the library database. Namely collect data including readerinformation records, borrowing records, book circulating records and libraryreference records etc. Then preprocess the collected information and establish usefullibrary information database.Secondly, use association algorithm (FP-Growth algorithm) applies data mininganalysis Book Circulation, use clustering algorithms (K-Means means algorithm)applied to borrow books readers and information mining analysis, Which found that the association between books categories and between the disciplines, Which foundthat different readers etc.Finally, according to the above mining results, take appropriate measures tooptimize the collection, appropriate measures to improve library management andprovide personalized service for readers. |
