| Because of remarkable advantages of PON technology, such as flexibility, stronganti-interference, business support ability, it has been considered to be the best solutionfor FTTH access network for ten years. As the representative of the PON technology,GPON technology has become the best choice to realize access network businesstransition for the majority of operation business. In order to improve efficiency of theGPON service business which include provisioning, distribution, and fault treatment,GPON system needs to provide the corresponding terminal management system, that’sOMCI, which can make OLT device perform manage and maintain the terminalequipment remotely.Based on a independent development GPON ONT chip, this thesis mainly studiesthe accomplishment of appliance software OMCI (ONT Management and ControlInterface) service of ONT in the GPON system. With the structure characteristics ofGPON system, the OMCI protocol, OMCI protocol stack, and MIB are reaearched.Based on this foreshadowing conclusions, functions of ONT management controlmodule are investigated. Then the general scheme of GPON OMCI system is proposed.Moreover, according to the analysis and research on the preceding database, combiningcurrent demand, selecting embedded MySQL database as the management database ofour system, OMCI MIB data sheet and data interface are implemented. In terms ofdevelopment requirements of OMCI, software and hardware platforms are constructedon the basis of embedded system. Then this thesis investigates the general softwareconstruction and thread of OMCI, analyses programming and specific processes ofevery function module in detail, including manage entity of business managementmodule, analysis of OMCI message and OMCI MIB database management module. Atlast, with the OMCI software architecture and testing scheme of the specific functionmodule, the testing environment is builded and some functions such as OMCI andmulticast are verified.By remote configuration of ONT operations hitched with OLT, consumer’s ONTcan be managed intensively. The system reduces the complexity of operation andimproves the efficiency of business issue. |
