Currently, digital trunking communication has been fast-developing. Fromonly providing voice business to supporting multimedia services as well, digitaltrunking communication needs much huger bandwidth. TD-LTE (Time DivisionLong-term evolution) represents an emerging technology that promises abroadband. TD-LTE is the fourth mobile communication system and released forcommercial use. Integrating trunking multimedia services into TD-LTE publicnetworks will satisfy the requirements.Taking the great advantages and wide use of LTE networks into considerati on,but several aspects have to be considered. At present, most of researchs onTD-LTE radio resource scheduling algorithm focuse on improving QoSperformance of multimedia flows. However, trunking communication needs tomanage the priority of user equipments (UEs). In this work, we need design apacket scheduler for trunking real-time services downlink communication,considering both the QoS (Quality of Service) and the priority of UEs.This paper first introduces the project background and the significance of theresearch.In the second chapter, the paper introduces TD-LTE downlink schedulingprinciple, including the system model, key techniques and problem formulation forresource allocation. Then we analyse the packet downlink scheduling procedure,the classification of packet scheduling algorithm, and the system level simulationplatform LTE-Sim.In the third chapter, we first introduce three classic scheduling algorithms.Secondly, the detailed introduction of FLS is proposed. Finally, by theory and thesimulation results, it clearly demonstrates that FLS could assure better QoS thanothers. This section provides fundament and new idea to proposing a properdownlink radio resource scheme for trunking multimedia services.Chapter IV is the focus. This section first proposes a scheme for trunkingmultimedia services, i.e, DTLCP (Discrete Time Line Control with Priority). Andwe simulate the new algorithm.Chapter V is another focus of this article. We propose an optimizationstrategy named M-DTLCP (Modified-Discrete Time Line Control withPriority).The paper highlights the effectiveness of improving DTLCP.Finally, summarizes and obtains conclusions.
