An Analysis Of The Spirit Of Humanism For Legal News Communication From The Perspective Of Ritual

At present, there is a new development in the politics, economy, culture and mediaindustry in China. It demands the legal news communication in China keep pace with theimplementation of legal governing, legal economy, and socialist core values, and grasp thefuture trend of media development as soon as possible. Based on the humanistic spirit, it alsodemands we re-examine the existing communication ideas, innovative communicationstrategies and improve communication efficiency to expand the influence of the legal newscommunication.Firstly, this paper proves the bridging role of the legal news communication in theconversion of the "rule in law" to the "rule of law" by comparing the concept andcharacteristics of these two terms. Meanwhile, by reviewing the history of the legal newscommunication, it is discovered that the real legal news communication in China is not long,and falls short of the distributed communication ritual, which results from following twohands. On the one hand, it is affected by the change of political situation. On the other hand, itis influenced by the fluctuation of thought, especially the Chinese people have not taken rootin the " rule of law"from the historical and cultural angles.From the ritual view of communication, the way the legal news communication developsin China is polarized towards two directions now. The one is more and more monotonous, theother one is more and more identifiable. In the nowadays information-based society, theaudience are more likely to perceive all kinds of legal news through the internet. Combinedwith the ritual view of communication, this paper demonstrates that when traditional mediaover-publicize the “rule of law”and lose audience favor, new media such as the internet willelevate the identity of legal news and make audience immersed in it, for the legal newscommunication is just a small-scale information system. Therefore, a negative legalcommunication ritual is formed, which deprives the access to the true,the good, and thebeautiful. Moreover, This polarization is very closely related with the legal communication ideas.The lack of the true, the good, the beautiful indeed shows that the emphasis on humanisticspirit in the legal news communication is insufficient. Therefore, it is a reconstruction of thebenign legal communication ritual, and a positive way to form the real idea of “rule of law” inour society to carry out the humanistic spirit in the legal news communication. Then, Thispaper deeply analyzes the performance characteristics of the lack of the humanistic spirit inthe legal news communication, the reasons why it is difficult for the humanistic spirit tointegrate into the legal news communication, and the influence of the western social andhistorical culture on the legal communication ritual. Finally, this paper put forwards someopinions on how to construct Chinese legal communication ritual from the aspects of culture,politics, and economy.
