This paper aims to study modeling method to simulate the realistic dynamic stand growth, and process visualization of stand growth, so as to scientifically evaluate the effect of forest management, forest to maximize the economic, ecological, social and cultural benefits under manual control, improve the degree of intensive forest management, give full play to the forest benefit.Firstly, the paper describes the current situation and problems of stand growth simulation. In view of the present situation and existing problems,this paper proposes stand growth modeling method based on Richards equation,the basic idea is that using Richards equation for the prediction of stand growth equation,combined a small amount of experiments and empirical data of the stand to reconstruct. Each parameter of reconstruction Richards equation are obtained by using the least square method,which according to the overall Richards equation reconstruction prediction of stand growth. In the prediction of stand growth, the paper presents a new algorithm that the whole stand growth model to the single tree growth model transformation, It’s according to the Richards equation to predict the average growth of stand a growth factor in the overall weight, and then according to "the strong stronger, the weak weaker "growth distribution principle, assigned to each tree distribution corresponding growth. It is to avoid competition model of the complex between the trees, and the stand growth by law of growth.The research presents the method to construct the tree and stand growth model, the method using the Bezier curve of high degree of stand and tree growth factor relation model, prediction, calculate and control the relationship with the change of the growth process stand and tree each part of the structure, construct the corresponding growth model. The paper describes how to reconstruct a few known data and how to obtain continuous curve from the discrete data points,and then simulates the dynamic growth of stand.The method solves the problem of discontinuous data in simulation of stand growth process.The stand also can be real and continuous growth.
