We regard the end of the twentieth century to the early decades of the21st century as the time that mankind entered the era of digitalization and information. At the second decade of the21st century, cloud computing becomes one of the latest directions in digital development. For publishing industry, in the era of cloud computing, digitalization is not the goal of IT, but the start of a series of information dissemination activities. Digital publishing has developed a lot these years and it has eventually reached the age of the cloud publishing. Confronted with this new format, digital publishing still needs to be explored.Domestic cloud publishing, at present, puts the main focus on paper, service platform, whose goal is to come up with paper or information integration platform, which is based on the paper as well. Is it the ultimate goal of cloud publishing? Definitely not. From the presence of information to the publications presented to the readers, the paper is no longer a necessity. Through a variety of electronic devices, information can be completely created and displayed.With the Digital publication growing, it is easy to find one in modern people’s life. Meanwhile, the way to read has been quietly changed. Certainly, digital reading and cloud reading are not strange to us. Instead of the paper, the majority of people obtain information from the electronic devices in recent days. Reading is not exclusive to the paper now.In conclusion, cloud reading provides a broad space for cloud publishing to develop.
