The Design And Implementation Of Android-based Application Store Client

With the birth of Android system, application and application store clients also appear. The application store client is an important channel to obtain application services; while application services create the app store prosperity. With the booming in mobile Internet, people has more and more demands on new and hot applications.Therefore a comprehensive application store client which has rich resources and complete functions should be designed and implemented. The subject comes from a practical commercial project. The author is mainly responsible for the design and development of the client part of the project. This mobile client provides app download channels to users. The main functions of the client are listed as followed: local application sorting function, app online store function, information function, message push function, application management, individual center function and some other functions.The author is responsible for the requirement analysis, preliminary design, detailed design, and development in the client. This thesis introduces Android operating system and some related application development technology firstly. Then analyzes the requirement of the client and describe the functional requirements and non functional requirements of the application store client. Later, elaborates the function point and the demand of user interface and user interaction. Then further describes the overall structure of the client design, preliminary design. Finally, explain the detailed design and realization of each module of the client.The app store client in this thesis is based on the Android platform, which involves four major components of Android development, as Activity, Intent, Android Broadcast Receiver and Service, and Android data storage, and access technology. The push mechanism and JSON data analysis method in mobile field are also involved.At present, the client has already been tested by testers and operates on-line. The basic functions have been met, and more and more people download this application. At the same time, users also propose many valuable comments, which can help improving the functionality of the application constantly.
