The Design And Implementation Of Gesture Recognition Control System Based On Android Platform

In recent years, the popularity of smart devices and intelligentterminals continued rapid development of technology, especially theexplosive growth of smart phones has changed people’s living habits, peopletend to use smart phone to solve solution of life. Such as online payment,online shopping and so can be done easily via smart-phones. Meanwhile, AsInternet of things, smart home technology continues to evolve, and with thenumber of smart devices increasing quickly, people will be more use ofsmart-phones as other smart devices control terminal.For the above, this paper will use the current popular Android smartdevice application platform to design host-side application software andclient software applications, achieve interactive control system that aAndroid smart-phone as a client, Android system set-top box (testing) for thehost side. The result we hope is that, in WIFI wireless network, the user keepthe client open state, holding smart phone in the air to make a particulargesture, the gesture recognition as a control signal passed to the host, thehost-side will make the appropriate response. This article will focus on thesensor-based gesture recognition research, make a brief research on UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) protocol and SSDP (Simple Service Discovery)protocol; Android system-related technologies research also is done. In theSystem, gesture recognition is implemented in the client, SSDP protocol ismainly used for client-side interaction with the host to discover and establishcommunication links. Finally, the entire control system of the client and thehost-side software architecture has been designed, and the entire controlsystem was developed and tested on above base, the test is to identify acertain amount of gestures, the system is stable, and basically reached a certain user experience requirement.
