Rubbish, the municipal solid waste, produces in the urban daily life. With the continuous progress of Chinese society, especially the rapid development of china’s urbanization in recent years, the municipal solid waste grows day by day. According to the statistics, the annual production of Chinese municipal waste in2010reaches a staggering251million tones, and this number is still growing at10%a year. The collection, transportation and processing problems of municipal solid waste have become the emphasis and difficulties of the urbanization process.Firstly, this paper introduces the foreign advanced shipping method of the municipal solid waste, and finds the drawbacks of the domestic traditional artificial shipping method including labor-intensive, inefficiency, poor effect. Then it points out the gap between china and the advanced foreign countries in the MSW shipping industry, proposes a new automatic shipping system of municipal solid waste.This system does not rely on traditional manual cleaning way, saving labor costs in order to achieve real-time transport method of MSW. The phenomenon, the accumulation of garbage on the garbage, does not occur. Furthermore it will not cause secondary pollution to the environment and does not occupy ground resources in the process of the garbage shipping.The main contents of this paper is as follows:(1) Proposes and determines the overall design scheme and the automatic overall structure of MSW shipping system. Furthermore it determines the structural parameters of the system components including the bandwidth and conveyor belt speed, conveyor belt material, drive rollers, idler pulley, roller and so on.(2) Determines the power and type of the driving motor which dependes on the calculation of the delivery value and speed of the machine.(3) Three-dimensional solid modeling and assembly of head roll and conveyor of the convey machine on basis of Three-dimensional modeling platforms.(4) Using the finite element software ANSYS Workbench to have the finite element analysis of head roll and conveyor,drawing the roller shell deformation figure and stress nephogram,then proving the reliability of the system design. (5) Comparing this system with the existing garbage shipping technology from the aspect such as system cost, speed, efficiency etc and gaining the value scale diagram of the system, then proving its economic and practicability.The automatic transport system of municipal solid waste achieves the real-time delivery and saves the manpower for environmental protection, then greatly improve the efficiency of municipal waste transport. Simultaneously it has a certain reliability and practicality and saves the half cost comparing with the existing garbage. This system provides certain reference direction for the development of Chinese MSW automatic shipping industry.
