Due to the rapid improvement of networking technologies, videos&graphicsprocessing technologies and transmission&storage technologies, IVS is experience agreat development in terms of intellectualization, digitalization and networking. Inaddition, IVS should be pay more attention to the image definition and stability, whichis great importance to the market of safety guarding. So we decide to design aembedded HD video server.This paper first analyzes the development background and research status of theNetwork Video Server at home and abroad. Then the domestic and foreign literaturesare summarized, and the content and the meaning of this research is described. On thebasic of analyzing the working principle of the Network Video Server, a control systembased on DM6467micro processor is proposed.We designed the system in modules andrun Linux OS on it, which designed separate modules, so it is easily expanded. videosare captured by image sensors, so it is often affected by noise. in this paper, the imagenoise is detail researched,by using the Low entropy, multi-resolution characteristics,flexibility of small wave, and in the treatment of non-stationary signal, remove imagesignal to noise in the superiority of performance, this paper uses the method of waveletthreshold denoising. we developed three different way and find the best one by softwaresimulation.the server uses adaptive de-interleaving algorithm, the static and moving picturesrealize de-interlace by splicing and interpolation, this maintains the video dataintegrity, ensure the video image resolution.In addition, the client communicate with theserver by so-called short connection instead of long connection. By using shortconnection, client only initiate one access to server before the connection is closed, so itsaves system resources on server and clients, at the same time, server will be morestable. DM6467will also in charge of video compressing by H.264encoding. Clientsmust decode before playing. Operation practice shows that great performance in termsof system stability, image definition, CPU utilization ratio, real-time feature andperformances under common network condition. At present the sever has obtained thegood application effect in pilot application.
