Study On Information Science Of China In21st Century Based On Mapping Knowledge Domain

To analyze the structure and trend of discipline research has always been animportant part of information science research and practice.How does the structureand trend of information science goes is an important issue which has great influenceon discipline development,though had been diligently explored by the industry,but itfailed to solve well.A sample of papers related to information scicence selected from eighteen corejournals in library and information science in CSSCI fowm2000to2012are used tomake co-citation analysis、co-word analysis、word frequency analysis、social networkanalysis of study on information science of China.It reveals co-author network、cooperation rate and degree、 co-institution network、 keywords co-occurrencenetwork、keywords burst network、journal co-citation network、author co-citationnetwork、 literature co-citation network which show the research progress ininformation science,this has certain reference significance to the research ofinformation science and the development of related subjects.This study shows that modern network environment provides favorableconditions for the development of information science,information science enrichesown by constant change;discipline denotation expands unceasingly, interdisciplinaryfusion is more obvious;trend of cooperatives in scientific research is enhancing,butthe network of cooperation is sparse relatively,interagency cooperation、cross-regionalcooperation is lacked;Wuhan university、Nanjing university and Peking universityhave prominent advantages in the discipline of information science;the area ofinformation science springs up a lot of outstanding representative persons includingJun-Ping Qiu、Fei-Cheng Ma、Chang-Huo Bao、Chang-Ping Hu、Xiao-Lin Zhang、Zhi-Jin Wang、Yi-Min Yan、Mao-Sheng Lai、Guang-Jun Meng、Chong-De Wang、Zhan-Ping Liang、Gu-Chao Shen、Xiao-Ying Zhou and so on;information scienceclassic literature which has far-reaching influence is frequently cited; competitiveintelligence、information retrieval、knowledge management、network informationresource、 information services、 search engine are research hot spots,mappingknowledge domain、internet public opinion、knowledge service、knowledge transfer、linked data、public library are research fronts.
