Electrical Capacitance Tomography (ECT) software at present are mostly stand-alone version which are developed based on MATLAB, and cannot run in the network environment. With the increasingly sophistication of Internet technology, ECT software developing in the network environment becomes more significant. In this paper, with the utilization of JSP dynamic webpage technology, the stand-alone version of ECT software is improved to adapt to the network environment. Based on the previous works, the following works have been done:1. By using MATLAB as calculation and figure tool, and JSP as developing system interface of dynamic webpage, m files are packaged into Java classes and methods by using Matlab Bulider JA, and related components is called by JSP to output results to JSP webpage.2. By utilizing the characteristics of the platform independency of JSP and the complex mathematic calculation and modeling of Matlab, combining with the development model of MVC, the bottom architecture of ECT software platform are designed and realized.3. Main core modules of stand-alone ECT software such as structure parameter setting module of imaging sensor, sensing field split module, imaging reconstruction algorithm module etc. have been improved, and ECT software has been simulated in the network environment. Experimental results show that the improved ECT software can run smoothly and get the correct simulation results.
