Image processing is an important content of computer information processing, alongwith the computer technology and digital image processing method is increasingly mature,people for image information processing convenience and effectiveness of the proposed newrequirements.It also promotes the image processing technology is more widely used inintelligent control, pattern recognition, etc. Different areas of the image processing softwaredevelopment makes the software more and more demand, although most software has such asdata operation, the basic function such as user management, chart display, but in differentplatform by hard code sharing between different language development software.In order tosolve this problem, this paper puts forward the idea of modular program design method, at thesame time to improve the efficiency of software development and maintenance, reduce therepetition software development purposes.MATLAB is a software package produced by The MathWorks, Inc. that allows powerfulcomputation and visualization of scientific data. But MATLAB will not run out of itsenvironment, and the execution speed is slow, that limits its application to a certain extent ofportability and high efficiency. LabVIEW is well known software programming packagewritten by National Instruments. It started as a generic instrument interface system that usedefficient methods to interface instruments to data analysis tool. It has a powerful graphical test,control and measurement capability. In LabVIEW data acquisition with the advantages ofsimple hardware configuration and acquisition speed and efficient, but in low efficiency indata processing operations. So it is necessary to combine MATLAB and LabVIEW seamlessly,foster strengths and circumvent weaknesses, will their advantages.Based on COM component as the link, with LabVIEW as interface development, thus torealize the seamless integration technology of LabVIEW and MATLAB. And its applicationin image processing cores, pumping unit detection, license plate recognition of imageinformation processing, verify the applicability and efficiency, to develop high quality, highperformance image processing software, the purpose of implementation in MATLAB,LabVIEW and IMAQ Vision are unable to realize the visual function of the software.
