In recent years, China’s communications industry has been developing continuously,especially the development and construction of mobile communication network, some newtechniques and new equipments are constantly used in the practical application. Wirelessutilization rate is a key indicator to measure the GSM wireless cyber source configuration.The low utilization rate of wireless network will lead to the waste of cyber source, therebyreducing the operator’s investment benefit, and lead to the input and output imbalance. Theutilization rate of wireless network can help us maximize the utilization of wireless networkcyber source in the optimization process of the network, under the condition of ensuring theindicators of network were normal and the call quality of consumer was good, the analysis ofthe utilization ratio of wireless network has a positive practical significance. To improve theutilization rate of wireless network, is an important way to improve the network operator’sbenefit, and also the important content in network optimization.This paper mainly studies how to improve the utilization rate of GSM wireless networkin Daqing City. Analysis the overall situation of the utilization of GSM network in Daqingcity, on the basis of the comparison between current utilization rate of GSM wireless networkand evaluation index, put forward the promotion goal of the utilization rate of GSM wirelessnetwork Combined with the actual situation in Daqing city, analysis all possible factors thatcaused lower utilization rate of GSM wireless network, find out main influencing factors,mainly include: geographical environment factor, interference factor, hardware hidden failurefactor, half rate did not open, dynamic channel switching threshold setting unreasonable andirrational allocation of resources. formulate corresponding measures according to thesefactors, the formulate measure for the geographical environment factor is adjusting the typeof antenna, antenna height, angle and azimuth angle, changing the distribution of traffic; theformulate measure for the interference factor is installing filters for the areas that interferedby the CDMA signal and GSM network automatic frequency optimization; the formulatemeasure for the hardware hidden failure factor is analyzing the fixed test, traffic statistics androad test file, judging the abnormal phenomenon by testing hardware or doing CTRmeasurements at the base station controller, determining the cause of the failure and replacingthe failed hardware; the formulate measure for half rate did not open is determining the areasthat need open the half rate, adjusting the channel ratio and opening the AMR; the formulatemeasure for dynamic channel switching threshold setting unreasonable is according to the voice and data service adjusting dynamic channel switching threshold; the formulate measurefor irrational allocation of resources isâ€removing idle and compensating busy†and “dualband network service equalizationâ€, then implement these measures.
