In recent years, China’s economy continued steady development, in order to meetcurrent economic situation, the State Grid Corporation put forward to implement human,financial and material intensive development and construct big plans, big building, bigoperation, big overhaul, big marketing to accelerate the transformation of thedevelopment mode of the corporation and the grid, in accordance with the requirementsof four aspects including the group operation, intensive development, lean management,standardization. As a result,the company’s management level has been greatly improved.Performance management as an important means to achieve strategic objectives, enhancecorporate performance, gradually being taken seriously. At present, the performancemanagement of Chinese power supply enterprises has the management floating on theform, inefficiency and other problems. In order to achieve the refinement, standardizationand regulation of performance management, design and development of an advancedpower supply enterprise performance management information system has become anurgent problem.In this paper, we conduct in-depth performance management related literatureresearch, analyse the necessity of establishing a scientific and feasible power supplyenterprise performance management information system, combined with its owncharacteristics and the proposed new requirements of current economic development. Wetake Baoding power supply company for example, and conduct comprehensive analysisof the functional requirements, the overall technical architecture design, datatransmission mechanism design, system network environment design, system softwareand hardware platform design, functional design, system security and scalability designof power supply enterprise performance management information system. We achievethe design of the system to verify the feasibility and scientific herein system design anddevelopment, and evaluate the effectiveness of the system, and put forward somesuggestions to provide theoretical and practical basis to ensure the healthy developmentof power supply enterprise. This paper has a strong theoretical and practical significance.
