With the rapidly development of the business of railway, train speed and traffic densityare improving continuously. The traditional way of railway safety data transmission can notmeet the needs of its fast-growing. The CTCS-3as the current highest passenger line traincontrol system, the information interaction has been transformed into an open transmissionsystem between its various devices. Original communication mechanism can not meet thesystem’s high safety index, so it is a must that assisting with high level security in securecommunication protocols in order to improve the reliability and security of data transmission,this is to improve the level of information security and railways necessary requirement of thecurrent signal control.The railway computer interlocking system is a real-time safety-critical system, whichplays a crucial role in achieving safety and efficient operation of the railway. The main workof this project is the analysis of the threat of open transmission systems. The EN50159-2standards proposed information secure and reliable transmission may exist, making a keyresearch for the RSSP-II railway signaling protocol for secure communication which wasmade up by Science and Technology Department of China’s Ministry of Railways.Interlocking systems and computer communication interface and other devices for the studystudied functional safety analysis and its applications in communications security, and in theVxWorks operating system used MUX layer interface functions complete the binding of thesecurity agreement and the underlying drivers in the Tornado environment simulation ofsecurity features RSSP-II protocol.In this dissertation, the completed work mainly in the following areas:(1) Referring to EN50159-2standard definition for open transmission system securitythreats, analyzed computer interlocking system security requirements and potential securitythreats and raise the measure. Including the use of the serial number protection, TTS/ECcount protection and security code protection and encryption technology.(2)Analyzing of the structure of the RSSP-II secure communication system protocol,focuses on how the two communicating entities security layer service model, serviceprimitives to establish a secure connection to complete entity authentication message integrityand peer.(3) Deeply analysis of the DES algorithm principle, completed the module programmingof DES algorithm on the basis of the encryption module using the DES algorithm. Thecombination of the decryption process for message integrity and entity authentication process,such a message authentication code (MAC) calculation。In the process, usesd the Triple DES of improved algorithms DES.(4) Optional VxWorks operating system as the hardware platform, use MUX layerinterface functions complete the binding RSSP-II protocol. The system via a standard socketinterface applications secure communication protocols.based on the the analysis, design andimplement security protocol. Test data indicate:RSSP-II secure communication protocol caneffectively prevent threats to the common communication network to improve the level ofsecurity and practicality communication system.
