Our country has many precious historical materials, the historical data is storedin the archive, including many expensive material, paper, and the disk files, buttemperature and humidity are two main factors that affect these precious datapreservation so in order to make these precious materials to save more long, it isnecessary to strict temperature and humidity measurement. At present in manyarchives we mainly adopt the way of manual record to measure the value of thetemperature and humidity twice or three times a day, it can’t monitor achieve any time,so we can’t find the problem in time, this consequence is very serious. Thetemperature and humidity monitoring system is also based on single chipmicrocomputer technology development, however simple temperature and humiditymonitoring system based on single chip microcomputer development is not strongextensibility, display mode is single and the change of temperature and humiditydisplay is not intuitive.With the progress of science and technology, the development of the computerindustry, virtual instrument technology has been rapidly developed, the instrumenttechnology got a very good application in many fields of the engineering. It is ameaningful thoughts of the full use of the computer itself operation speed and othercharacteristics, so we develop the single chip microcomputer temperature andhumidity acquisition system combined with virtual instrument technology.According to the existing problems, this paper fully combined with advantagesof the virtual instrument including its humanization、 customized function andgraphical display. The system use SHT10temperature and humidity sensor to measuretemperature and humidity, it send data through a serial port. The PC will display thedata through the curve and numerical methods. The content mainly includes thefollowing aspects:(1)The introduction (2)The system overall design scheme (3)Thedesign of the hardware circuit(4)Virtual instrument and the introduction of theLabVIEW softwareThe Tomcat server testing data reliably, the results show that the system interfaceis ease of use, all operations are done by the mouse and keyboard, the screen candisplay real-time temperature and humidity of the curve, it is convenient to watch curve and we can take effective measures to possible problems.It is an effective wayof the protection of cultural heritage.
