Abstract:Distance education mode to provide learners with a new way to access to education, and fully mobilize the educated learning initiative and enthusiasm. Network of distance education there are some shortcomings, due to the lack of a mandatory discipline, the students’learning behavior arbitrariness strong need to use not only the examination and other means in order to be able to monitor the students’ learning behavior, as detected by standard, but also the need for students assess the day-to-day learning behavior, and thus more comprehensive, more objective evaluation of the performance of the students. Data mining is a large amount of historical data analysis and research to arrive at the data implied a way of knowledge. Data mining technology into the evaluation of students’online learning behavior, both can be analyzed to get the students’daily learning behavior and the link between the results of the final evaluation, but also will analyze the results as a reference and a basis to develop a learning plan, to improve students’learning efficiency.Theory and key technology of data mining research and analysis, focused on the center of CART (Classification and Regression Tree Algorithm) algorithm decision tree generation algorithm, the algorithm pointed out shortcomings in dealing with students online learning, and then use its properties of the algorithm has been improved, and tested to prove the improved algorithm can effectively shorten the processing time, and reduce the size and number of the generated rule set. Improved CART decision tree generation algorithm as the core, combined with the actual distance education students’learning behavior assessment needs students online learning behavior evaluation system is designed and implemented. Software engineering theory and process guidance, needs analysis, architecture design, detailed design, the specific implementation method iteratively to complete the design of the system and programming language to implement the functions of the system. The core of the system is generated CART decision tree algorithm to construct the model of the relationship between students’learning behavior and learning effects, the use of the model to the assessment of the students’online learning behavior.Behavioral assessment of students’online learning system design and development are completed and put into use, be able to accurately obtain the characteristic data of the various types of online learning of the students, after processing of data mining module, the analysis of the relationship between the characteristics of data and academic achievement in order to basis to guide students to online learning behavior, and achieved good results.
