The health education and nursing intervention after kidney transplantation can improve treatment compliance, lessen psychological-stress complication, and improve patients’life quality. In this paper, we created the health monitoring and assessment management system(HMAMS); conducted analyses of factors which influence life quality of the patients; formulated intervention strategies, and compared the differences of life quality on kidney transplantation patients before and after intervention in order to search and identify the effective ways of improving the life quality on kidney transplantation patients.Based on the frame of the HMAMS constructed from the design of Access2010Data Base Management Software, we drew up the brief scale of patient satisfaction; cited the brief scale of life quality of kidney transplantation patients. The study was conducted on a sample size of225kidney transplantation patients who had follow-up at the clinic of Xiangya Hospital of Central South University during February2012and April2012. Their Satisfaction and life quality before intervention were followed by satisfaction scale and some assessment scale about life quality. Totally225questionnaires were sent out and220valid questionnaires were received with the effective rate of97.78%. After analyzing the return questionnaires, we identified the factors which has significant influence on patient life quality, and formulated intervention strategies:improving outpatient follow-up process, developing a systematic health guidance to these patients, offering health management education courses to patients, and using SMS platform for unified management of these patients. Post intervention survey was conducted6months later. There were ten patients (rate of4.5%) lost in post intervention survey. Pearson correlation analysis, Paired t-test, two independent sample t-test, ANOVA and multiple linear regression were used for statistical analysis. All tests were two-sided, and P<0.05was considered statistically significant. Analyses were performed using the SPSS13.0.Analyses results show that with the implementation of intervention strategies for six months, there were statistically significant (P=0.000) improvements in terms of the total satisfaction score in medical procedures, medical environment, the staff technical capacity; there were also statistically significant (P=0.000) improvements in terms of the total quality life score in physiological dimension, psychological dimension, social dimension, and therapeutic dimension. Based on the Information Technology and targeted interventions can improve the quality of life in kidney transplantation patients.
