Abstract:Food industry is an important pillar industry of national economy. It is of great significance to promote the sustained, stable and healthy development of national economy. Food is a kind of typical mass consumer goods, with short life cycle. The food supply chain contains many stages, with high process requirements, and it is vulnerable to uncertainties. The great importance attached to food safety makes the food supply chain attract much attention. With the globalization of economy and trade, the demand for the freshness of food and the degree of the process transparency is increasingly growing. What is more, the market requires better production processes, shorter delivery time, and faster response speed, which promotes the supply chain to enhance time-sensitive. Competition between supply chains have gradually turned to time-based competition. To achieve these goals, the role of information is essential. We can take advantage of information sharing to coordinate the cooperation between nodes of supply chain, to ensure the food supply chain operate efficiently and safely.Information sharing as the focus of supply chain management research, its impact on supply chain also creates new value in a constantly changing environment. Internet of Things is the product of rapid development of modern science technology and information technology, which provides better support to achieve effective supply chain information sharing. IOT technology has broad prospects in the food industry. We can achieve real-time process monitoring, provide traceability system, and solve the problem of food supply chain transparency. IOT environment provides a new direction for Information sharing. It is of realistic sense to research food supply chain based on Internet of Things. At present, there are already many studies on supply chain information sharing. But the study on information sharing under new technology is relatively few. Therefore, this paper regards food supply chain based on Internet of Things as the research object, and then building the food supply chain information sharing model, and analyzing time value generated by this model. In the paper, the main work is done as follows:Firstly, on the basis of supply chain management and information sharing correlate theories, the paper analyze the current situation of food industry, food supply chain and supply chain information sharing. Secondly, after the introduction of IOT key technologies, the paper briefly analyze their applications in various fields and the role of IOT technologies played in the food supply chain. Thirdly, according to the design framework of IOT, build information sharing model based on IOT, which contain acquisition layer, sharing layer and application layer. Finally, supply chain information flow model based on Markov theory is established, then simulation analysis about the information flow cycle time performance under information sharing model to determine the influence of parameters and explains parameters under information sharing have a positive effect on the information flow cycle time performance. The innovations in this paper are as follows.(1)The idea of IOT is used in food supply chain management in this paper. Information sharing mode of food supply chain based on IOT is put forward, which brings feasible way for food safety and food information transparency.(2)Under food supply chain information sharing mode based on IOT, the information flow model is established, then the quantitative analysis of the impact of information sharing on supply chain cycle time is done, and using the simulation tool to analyze the parameters, to confirm IOT information sharing mode bring time value for supply chain.
