| Motion capture technology can effectively solve the bottleneck problem of the difficultto define the role movement in the process of the three-dimensional animation production,and it greatly reduces the workload of controlling the movement of character, so as toimprove the development efficiency as well as fidelity of animation movement. Applicationsof motion capture technology are not limited to the animation field, it is also widely used invirtual reality systems, virtual training ground and real-time tracking of the trajectory of ananimal or a more general object. Therefore, it is necessary to design a set of high-precisionand fully functional motion capture system. The thesis offers an effective design scheme ofmechanical human motion capture system, at the same time, for many weaknesses of theexisting motion capture system such as the communication distance is short, low efficiencyand high complexity of human body model real-time reconstruction software. This system isdesigned based on wireless data transmission module JN5139and the3D animation softwareMotionBuilder, it makes development efficiency more high and function more powerful.Human motion capture system studied in this thesis mainly involves the design of bodymodel real-time reconstruction software, sensor technology, design of sensor network nodes,ZigBee wireless communication technology. It abstracts17key joints affecting humanmovement from real human body model and puts a sensor on each joint point to measure themotion data of the node,17nodes constitute a sensor network, the system through the sensornetwork to get the real-time motion data (quaternion) from body joints, the master controllermodule based on microprocessor STM32F103collects real-time data of each node in thesensor network, and transferring them to workstation through wireless data transmissionmodule JN5139, the workstation has the human model reconstruction software to reappearreal-time movement of the performer, the graphics software is designed and implementedbased on the3D animation software MotionBuilder, its interior is based on a method ofinverse kinematics to analyze and calculate the motion data for each key node, finally, thesystem gets real-time data of driving virtual character movement, so in the software usingvirtual role to reproduce real-time actions of the real performer. Experiments show that thedevelopment efficiency of human model real-time reconstruction software is higher andfunctions are more powerful, virtual character and performer athletic stance with goodconsistency, the movement fidelity of virtual character is higher, effective communicationdistance farther, and it is very easy to further expand the research of this subject, such as thedesign of multiplayer real-time motion capture system. |
