| In recent years, with the development of modern science and technology ofcomputer image processing, objective research of tongue diagnosis has become a hotresearch field of TCM inspection, and has achieved a breakthrough. Compared withthe tongue color quantitative research based on color space,the psychophysicaltongue color quantization can transform the three dimensional physical value to aone-dimensional psychophysical perception value, and simplify the colorrepresentation, which is meeting the doctors’ requirements of tongue color recordingand describing, it will be more straightforward than the research based on color space,at the same time it is meaningful and significant for assisting doctors to diagnose.In view of the psychological tongue color quantization, we focus on the relationbetween the single color space component and the value of psychophysical perception,and the change of perception value when three components of color spacesynchronously change and the programming of tongue color perception ofquantitative system. The contents in this paper include the following:In order to meet the needs of tongue color quantization, we treat the order ofcolor gradual change as cognitive order of psychophysical perception, and selectphysical stimulus in tongue color range to do the psychophysical experiments. Weobtain the equal interval scales by Thurstone’s law of comparative judgment; then weget the curve of the single color space component and the perception value. The curveshows the variation trend which is about the single color space component changingwith the perception value.In the case of known the relation between the single color space component andthe perception value, we chose some color blocks as physical stimulus from Munsellcolor system and standard tongue color samples to do the rank order experiments,Then we get the equal interval scales from the experiments, we build themathematical modeling by the polynominal regression and support vector regression,and analyze the results, finally we get an appropriate tongue color quantitative modelof psychophysical perception.On the basis of the above model, this model has been designed into a tonguecolor quantization system of traditional Chinese medicine, from which can readpictures, extract pixels, show the samples in color spaces, and achieve to show thetongue color value of perception.Finally, the content of this paper is summarized and the further research work isdiscussed. |
