The underground pipe network management system of universities is a3D digital,networking, modern platform, which exhibits the spatial location of underground pipenetwork more accurately, vividly and intuitively. The system provides convenientunderground pipe network editing and intelligent pipeline analysis. Theimplementation of the underground pipe network management system needs threesteps, analysis, design and implementation. This paper mainly completed thefollowing work:First, this paper analyzes the demand of the underground pipe networkmanagement system, considering of the shortcomings and requirement of theunderground pipe network management. This paper proposes university-orienteddesign requirements, using mapping system, GIS system and the characteristics of3dvisualization system by analyzing the development stage and the technicalcharacteristics of the underground pipe network management system.Second, this paper completed the design of the underground pipe networkmanagement system of universities system. We complete the design of the spatial datamode, make sure the technical route of the system, gives the solution to the keyquestion based on demand analysis. Then we design system functions and database indetail.Third, we implement the underground pipe network management system ofcolleges and universities. We developed and implemented the core part of the systembased on demand analysis and system design.The innovation of the system is the simplified model of spatial data based onsurface of irregular triangle split algorithm, dynamic reconstruction of3dunderground pipe network model. through the OpenGL underlying function, vc++and MFC library to complete3d underground pipe network model of dynamic loadand static features of3d model display, core functions such as texture mapping,effectively meet the particular occasions streamline underground pipe networkmanagement system structure, function applicable requirements, has greatpopularization value.
