FATCA System Design And Implementation Based On AS/400

With the rapid development of computer science and technology and Internet technology,people’s material, cultural life level has been greatly enriched, the business of commercialbanks is also undergoing profound changes," Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act，FATCA" requires commercial banks to identify US account holder information, the majorcommercial banks have begun to research and development the FATCA system for their ownbank, in order to study and meet the requirement of FATCA system of financial industry, thisthesis designs a FATCA system based on IBM AS/400platform. The FATCA system isinternal used by bank teller, the staff of commercial banks can complete the general bankingbusiness through this system, operating on the customer information and account information,the system can automatically completes the customer classification.The mainly studied the bank FATCA system is implemented base on IBM AS/400plantform in this thesis, the major function including customer information managementmodule and the account information management module. This system uses the B/Sarchitecture model, combined with database and middleware technology on the AS/400platform to complete the system development, the FATCA system frent end was developed byJava technology, and the backend is developed by RPG programming technology, through themiddle of message communication mechanism. In this thesis, firstly, summarize the advantageand system implementation of FATCA AS/400running on the meaning, and then the FATCAsystem needs to do analysis, complete the preliminary design and the detailed design of thesystem, the application of RPG programming language to complete the system development,then a detailed description of the FATCA system implementation and testing, the final analysisof the FATCA system for business the bank benefits.The main function of FATCA customer classification includes the main function of searchAmericans indica information, finding the document solutions, customer classification, theroutine business of commercial bank will be tools of customer classification call FATCA therealization of customer classification based on FATCA rules. Through this system, commercial banks can improve the work efficiency, simplify working process, enhance the accuracy of theFATCA business, and reduce the labor intensity of working people to the bank.
